Our Buying Team attended the recent January show to find this year’s emerging trends, and we have compiled this roundup so that you can bring them into your home! Read on for a summary of what we found, in our Maison & Objet AW19 Trend Report – and prepare to experience some serious interior lust!

#1 Au Naturale!

Natural materials like cane, rattan and jute could also be observed in abundance at this year’s show.  We have always been a big fan of the natural look, so this is definitely a trend that we can get on board with in 2019.

#2 Coral is the new Grey

No surprises here, Pantone’s 2019 colour of the year: Living Coral was one of the stand-out colours of the show. Described as an ‘animating and life-affirming shade of orange with a golden undertone’, the marine tone is predicted to dominate the design industry in 2019. Other shades of pink, including rust, blush and salmon were also popular at this year’s event.

#4 Go Green

Green is the colour that people still want to see more of, especially with the growing trend of green living. It was a grey shade of green that leans more towards khaki that dominated at Maison, but other shades of green including fir, sage and emerald were all still widely represented.
