Luxury Kids Beds Celebs, Influencers & Interior Designers Just Love

I’m not one for name dropping… however I’m not going to hold back in saying that there are a few celebrities whose children drift off into the land of dreams in a Cuckooland bed. It fills me with a great sense of satisfaction and pride knowing that in their search for the ultimate kid’s bed, they found what they were looking for among the carefully selected beds I have come to know, love and cherry pick (those of you who are old enough to remember Red Dwarf, may refer to this as “smug mode”!). It’s one thing for me to love the beds that feature on the pages of Cuckooland’s coolest kid’s beds, but when someone whom I consider to exist in the realms of stardom loves one enough to actually let their child sleep in it… well that’s kind of cool… smug mode over!

Fame aside, when you’re a parent, buying a new bed for your child should be a super fun experience. I love helping customers from every walk of life with this event, from discussing the various bed options, deciding colour schemes and design, considering the pros and cons and lastly deciding upon the final choice… sometimes this process can take weeks, even months! However, what gives me the biggest smile of all is when I see the finished result, the new bed in situ, standing proud in its new surroundings, perfectly framed by the finishing touches – it’s then that the bed truly comes alive.

Cuckooland’s range of luxury kids beds are a collection of hand picked beds that offer up something extraordinary, whether it be unique design, sustainable materials or that extra sprinkling of WOW. Featured below are just a few of the magical kid’s beds that celebs, influencers and interior designers just love, I hope you’ll love them too!

Mathy By Bols Treehouse Bed & Slide

Beds with slides are a winning kids bed combo, an admirable fusion of fun and function. The Mathy by Bols Treehouse Bunk Bed with Slide & Platform has won the hearts of many customers, including itv.Be. The Mummy Diaries star, Samantha Faiers, who chose this bed to be her son Paul’s first big boy bed. I think you’ll agree it looks absolutely incredible featured here, in a jungle style bedroom.

Handmade in Belgium from solid pine and MDF, the wood is cut to different sizes to give an authentic finish. With a choice of 26 colours, this treehouse bed with slide can be styled to suit an array of kid’s bedroom themes.

Woood Teepee Cabin Bed

A firm best seller at Cuckooland, the Kids Teepee Cabin Bed has been styled in many different ways over the years, including being wallpapered in Cole & Son Polo Stripe Wallpaper! This tent bed has also featured on BBC’s DIY SOS and Channel 4’s George Clarke’s Ugly House to Lovely House.

The Woood Teepee bed is an ideal toddler’s first bed, with its low to the ground profile and enclosed design it will hopefully make the transition from cot to bed an easier task. Versatile and fun, this kids tipi bed is a great option for both boys and girls, seen here styled by interior designer Fiona Parke, @johnstonparkeinteriors.

Mathy By Bols Caravan Bed

It never ceases to amaze me how creative people can be with interior design and I have to say I was bowled over by how the Mathy By Bols Caravan Bed took on a whole new persona in the home of award winning blogger @ormistonhousedesign. Beautifully pitched up in a whimsical bedroom, the baby pink colour chosen for this themed kid’s bed is just perfect in the fairytale setting.

New York Metal Bed & Alice Metal Bed

I’m not surprised that Cuckooland’s range of children’s metal beds have been such a hit. Firstly they offer amazing value, secondly they’re available in a choice of gorgeous colours and thirdly their understated design is perfect for a kid’s bedroom.

Whether you opt for a bright pop of colour, as seen here by @too_much_leopard, winner of our #mycuckooland competition, who has boldly styled the New York Bed in Yellow with equally colourful kids bedroom accessories, for a super cool children’s room.

Lifetime Play, Learn Sleep Bed

Lifetime are undeniably one of my favourite kid’s furniture brands, they sure know how to design adventuresome beds from sustainably sourced materials.

The monochrome themed kid’s bedroom by @house_of_wolf_interiors perfectly suits the Lifetime Play, Learn Sleep Bed, creating a lively environment where hours of fun can be spent playing.

Or create a children’s soft play bedroom like @upcycledmill designed for Grand Designs Live – if you’d like more inspiration dreaming up a super cool kid’s playroom bedroom, follow the link to my blog.

Oliver Contemporary Wood Day Bed

I love the contrast of the light white and oak frame of the Oliver Furniture Contemporary Kids Day Bed against the dark walls of @suszi_saunders son’s room. While dark colours can often be associated with a more grown up bedroom, the softness of the nordic bed design and the adorable animal bedding bring the room into perfect balance for an on-trend kid’s bedroom.

Pino House Cabin Bed

Give your munchkin a taste of their own home with a kid’s house bed! A hugely popular choice, these fun children’s beds can be styled in so many ways. I love the simple styling of the Pino House Cabin Bed, seen here by @thisismothership in her daughter’s bedroom, with a statement bed it’s best to let the bed do the talking! (I’ll be quiet now!).

Mathy By Bols Treehouse Bunk Bed

I’m so pleased that my affection for the Mathy By Bols Treehouse Bunk Bed is shared by many happy customers (the 5 star customer reviews say it all!). Award winning interior designer @suemurphyinteriors has created a fanciful kid’s room using this luxury treehouse bed. Seen here in a pale grey, this children’s treehouse bed comes in a choice of 26 gorgeous colours – surely this is an interior designers dream!

I think the closest I’ve come to feeling famous is walking down my street with Barkley – of course it’s not me that everyone wants to stop and talk to, it’s my decidedly gorgeous and soppy dog – deep sigh! I think I’ll just stick to working hard behind the scenes, sourcing amazing kid’s beds that hopefully everyone will love as much as I do!
