How can I get stains out of a fabric sofa?

When life happens and you stain a fabric sofa, don’t panic. Here’s how we get stubborn stains out of fabric sofas:

First, check the label on your sofa to see whether you can use water or a solvent to remove the offending stain. If there’s a ‘W’ code on the label, you should use water to remove stains. Using a solvent solution could damage the fabric even more. Grab a soft sponge, and dab with warm water mixed with soap. If your label has an ‘S’ code, you should use a dry-cleaning solvent solution - you can usually pick these up in the cleaning aisle at the supermarket. Depending on the solvent instructions, you apply the product on the sofa and leave it for several minutes. You should then blot away at the stain with a clean cloth. Avoid using water with a solvent, as this could stain. If the cleaning instructions say ‘WS’, you can use a combination of both water and solvent solution.

What if I spill wine on a fabric sofa?

With dark stains (like that glass of vino), you should dab away with a clean and dry cloth. If the stain is too stubborn, try mixing vinegar with laundry detergent to lift the mark out. Luckily, the Swyft sofas are made with stain-resistant material, so you won’t need to worry about any spillages. Phew!

Can I customise my sofa?

Each Lovi sofa is custom-made to order. So when you find a Lovi sofa, you can select from a range of fabrics and colours, and from a choice of sofa feet. You can also position a chaise lounge to the left or right, so your new sofa will fit your space perfectly.

When will my sofa arrive?

On each sofa page, you’ll see a ‘dispatch time’ - that’s how long it takes the manufacturer to send your lovely new sofa to our warehouse. When it arrives, we aim to deliver your sofa within a week. We’ll contact you to arrange a delivery slot that works for you.

Do I need to pay for delivery or insurance?

There are absolutely zero hidden costs when you buy a sofa from Cuckooland. We offer free delivery, and there’s no add-ons or additional fees - what you see is what you get.
