A dining bench should ideally be between 90cm and 170cm. Choose a length of your dining bench that suits you - it will depend on your kitchen space and how many people you need to seat.

• How many people can sit on a dining bench?

If you’re looking for a bench to seat two people, 130cm should be long enough. For three adults, 220cm should provide ample space.

So, if you have a family of four, two 130cm benches will provide plenty of space for everyone. Or, you could mix and match your dining bench with two dining chairs on the opposite side.
