Woood
Our homes like to court an air of Nordic wonder, especially when we fill them with items hewn from a forest, one that’s dappled in an enchanting Northern light. The essence of Scandi-inspired furnishing is well and truly alive in Wooods kids beds, furniture, chairs, adult beds and storage units, which energise the fastest growing décor trend in the world.
This manufacturer, based in the rural heart of the Netherlands, doesn’t beat around the bush when it comes to the chic of the Low Countries! Using blacks, whites, creams and gentle greys as a springboard, their furniture can instil your rooms with a crisp, glacial sense of space. The brand is an epitome of Scandi design, using the woodland materials on its doorstep to build strong, impeccable items. Check out their oak tables if you’re in doubt, or the minimal trolley shelves with bare metal frames – each item is polished with the splendour of sustainable living.
Clever storage solutions are further proof that De Eekhoorn knows what it’s doing: precisely, turning the regalia of a room centrepiece back towards the land, and seeing what amazing results can be reaped from it. Maybe hallway storage is something you’re craving, or you’re just constantly hunting for the next best slice of Scandi genius. Whatever the case, Cuckooland has the lockers, chests and display shelves to help you with storage solutions and your tidying routine. But the brand really flourishes in the bedroom, providing kids and adults with clean uncluttered wintry décor to sink into after a long day. Buying a child’s bed has rarely been a safer bet, as these models – both trundle and cabin-style – will last your youngster up to their teens. Why not complement their room with wall art for an even greater, pastel-shaded effect, bringing the Nordic winds and cool Scandi style to their favourite place.
We’re sounding the De Eekhoorn for affordable luxury, straight from the summit of Europe! Dive in and explore our full collection to master the Scandi trend in your home.
