The Teepee Cabin Bed from Woood is very close to our heart here at Cuckooland, being one of the first unique kid's beds we introduced into our now ever-expanding range. Teepee (aka Tipi) beds have grown in popularity over the past few years and we now have several designs, to suit all budgets, that promise to encourage your Cowboys and Indians to bed down for the night and dream of camping beneath constellations in the great wild west.
When it comes to choosing a new bed for your child’s bedroom there are many points to consider. Kids beds have exploded with possibilities, gone are the days you’re faced with a decision between a single or a bunk! Most of our Teepee Beds are a single size bed (either UK or European) and therefore would be suitable for a toddler if they are ready to make the transition to a single bed. This can be a personal choice for many families. We also have a Junior Tipi Bed that comes up slightly smaller than a single bed and requires a smaller mattress of 70 x 140cm.
Most of our Teepee Beds have the option to add a trundle drawer that fits snugly underneath the bed, providing extra storage which, let’s face it, is essential in every child’s bedroom! Our bestselling Vox Spot Tipi Bed also has the option to add a trundle bed, perfect for sleepovers!.
Absolutely! Tipi Beds are great for accessorizing, string up a set of fairy lights or bunting or add a little hook as somewhere for your little cowboy to sling their hat! Or go all out and create a themed bedroom we’ve got some super creative ideas to help you out.
