Do you sell Wall Shelves with ends?

Yes we have many designs of wall shelves including shelves with ends. These are ideal if you plan to display anything that could topple off… particularly if your spirit level isn’t quite as accurate as you’d hoped (we’re not doubting your eye, of course!|). If you’d rather go for shelves without ends, take a look at our cute bookends - ideal for keeping your books in order!

How do you hang Wall Shelves?

As tempting as it is to dive in and get drilling it’s important to check what could be lurking behind the wall, such as pipes or cables. There are digital detectors that will identify any hazards, or just cast your eye over the various clues - like whether there's a plug point directly below where you plan to drill. The wall fixing you need will depend whether the wall is a masonry or stud wall. A masonry wall requires a hammer action drill and screws with wall plugs, for a stud wall the screws will need to go straight into the timber framework to ensure secure fixings. Another essential piece of equipment is a spirit level - otherwise you may end up with shelves that resemble the Leaning Tower of Pisa!

What is the maximum weight that a Shelf can hold?

This will vary, so it’s best to check the product detail pages first as these will include the maximum weight load where possible.
