This guarantee covers defects in materials and craftsmanship in the components of a Cuckooland Own Brand Kids Bed during normal domestic use only. The guarantee covers any fault as long as there is photographic evidence of the fault and the product has been used appropriately and responsibly.

The guarantee is void if the product is found to have been mistreated/damaged, this includes; splits, burns, breakages, spillage and stains.

This also applies if the product has not been maintained/cared for in accordance with the care instructions advised, including failure to use furniture pads on non-carpeted surfaces.

The product should also not be assembled or disassembled multiple times as this will weaken the fittings and joints. If the photographic evidence suggests that the product has been subjected to excessive wear and tear, then the guarantee will become void.

Our product pages describe and display the product as accurately as possible. Please note that the resolution, colour settings and other characteristics of the product on these product pages may cause the product to look slightly different online than it looks in reality.

Unfortunately the guarantee is made void for any product that has not been assembled according to the installation instructions provided or has been modified or altered without Cuckooland’s consent. For example, any part of the bedframe with a hole drilled through it by the customer.

The guarantee is also void for products sold “pre-loved” , “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “returned”, “previously owned”, “sample” or any other similar wording suggesting the product is not “new”.

This would include improper assembly of any part of the bed frame and structure causing any part to split or break or overloading the bed or drawers. Overloading may cause distortion or damage to the bed and drawers rendering the bed unsafe or the drawers to jam. Therefore, mini drawers should not be loaded in excess of 7 kg, and standard drawers – 15 kg. Please consult the bed product pages to confirm the max weight limit of the bed as weight limits may differ from bed to bed.

The guarantee starts on the date of delivery of the product and finishes at the end of the 5th year from that date.
All damage must be reported to Cuckooland within 72 hours of occurrence with photographic evidence supplied. Failure to do so will result in you being unable to put a claim in.
Please do not dispose of the item until we have either accepted or declined your claim.

Cuckooland Customer Service Team will require most or all of the following to process your claim: Images/videos showing the defect, measurement of indentations/sags, weight of product user(s), claimant name and address, order number, part/s number and full description of complaint.

We will always try and help where we can, even if the product is not covered by the guarantee. If we cannot help and it’s clear the product is not covered by the guarantee, we will ask you if you would like a replacement part or product sent to you (at your cost) or if you would like us to handle the disposal of the product (at your cost).
