Vat and Duty (UK, European Union and International)

Vat is included for the United Kingdom (UK). If delivery is to the UK, VAT will be shown on your Vat receipt.

To obtain a VAT receipt, simply sign into your account, go to “Your Order History” and then click through on your order number for which you require a receipt.

For Outside the UK, Vat and Import duties/tax, fees and levies may apply; kindly consult your local customs office for these costs. Unfortunately we have no control over these charges and we cannot tell you what they will be, we can only advise that you check the import charges that may be applicable to your country before ordering products to be delivered there.

Our listed price will not be changed regardless of the VAT status of the customer. Meaning that the products may be zero-rated because you are a non-UK resident or because you have requested delivery to a non-UK address, (and you may not be subject to UK VAT) but that doesn’t affect the price you pay- the price paid by you for the products will be the price listed on our site.

So if you are ordering as a non-UK resident, and your products are being delivered outside the UK and you wish to claim the VAT back, or if you are an EU business and wish to claim the VAT back, we hate to say this, but this website may not be appropriate for you.

Also please note that the recipient of the goods is responsible for all customs charges and formalities for the import of the Products, and it is them that will be required to pay any additional charges for international delivery (including import duty, formal customs entry, taxes, levies and other charges) that may be levied outside the UK. So if you’re ordering Products to be delivered to someone else, please ensure they’re aware that they’ll be responsible for these additional charges.

Failure to pay these duties and VAT may lead to the item being returned to Cuckooland or possibly being destroyed if the delivery charges are too high.

It is important to note that if this is the case we may not be able to refund your order. If, due to non-payment of duty and VAT, the product is successfully returned to us in a sellable condition, we will refund you the order less all delivery and associated charges.

We also advise that you check that any products ordered comply with state and federal government import regulations and that there are no local requirements or restrictions that may apply to you.
