Leander

Designing a nursery that keeps up with your tot’s development can be challenging – not to mention expensive! What if you could find an all-in-one solution that grew with your child, from bundle of joy to bundle of energy? With luxury nursery furniture from Leander, you can! A contemporary brand for the modern nursery, this award-winning Danish company has some amazing innovations for new and expecting parents.

Once upon a time – in 1998 to be precise – Stig Leander was given the challenge of designing a new style of cradle for his sister-in-law. Armed with just a few scraps of cardboard, glue and thread, he began creating an invention that soon caught on amongst family and friends, and eventually parents worldwide. Less than 20 years later, Leander has become synonymous with innovative design and flexible features that just make sense. Stig found his fame with his quirky answer to modern cradles. Why spend the night rocking your baby to sleep, when your cradle could do it for you? The hanging cradle is designed to be as calming and cosy as mummy’s tummy, with a beautiful design that you’ll wish you were small enough to curl up in too.

Once your bundle of joy becomes too big for a cradle, it’s time to upgrade to cots and cot beds. However, if you don’t want to be shopping for beds every 6 months, Leander has a clever solution. Their 5-in-1 cot can be adjusted as your superstar grows, evolving to create a junior bed that’s ideal for bedrooms of all sizes. So you can save money, and make the most of available space.

The inventions don’t end there; Leander’s collection includes a stylish range of adjustable high chairs, as well as nursery accessories in white, grey, beech and walnut, that will suit your little prince or princess from birth, to primary school, and beyond. Modern, cool and oh-so-clever, Cuckooland can’t get enough of Stig’s super inventions.
