Questions & Answers (10)
Answers from the Cuckooland team.
What are the dimensions of the Sammi accent chair?
The SOLACE+CO Sammi Curved Tub Accent Chair measures W79 x D71 x H71cm, with a seat height of 44.5cm. Please measure your space and doorways before ordering to make sure it fits comfortably, and allow some room around the chair so you can sit down and get up with ease.
What is the Sammi chair upholstered in?
The Sammi is upholstered in soft beige velvet over a foam filling. Velvet has a plush feel and a gentle sheen, and the pile naturally moves with use, so you may notice lighter and darker shading. This is a normal characteristic of velvet fabric and part of its charm.
What shape is the Sammi chair?
The Sammi is a curved tub chair. Its rounded arms sweep forward from the back in one continuous line, so the chair wraps around you as you sit. The soft, sculptural silhouette adds modern character to a room without feeling bulky, making it a good choice for smaller spaces too.
What is the maximum weight the Sammi chair can hold?
The Sammi Curved Tub Accent Chair has a maximum user weight of 110kg. To keep it looking and feeling its best, we recommend using it as a single seat and avoiding standing, kneeling or sitting on the curved arms, as this can put extra strain on the frame and upholstery.
What is the seat height of the Sammi chair?
The seat height of the Sammi chair is 44.5cm from the floor, with an overall height of 71cm. This is a comfortable height for most adults and makes it easy to sit down and stand up again, whether you use it in a living room, bedroom or reading corner.
How much does the Sammi chair weigh?
The Sammi chair weighs around 20kg. It feels solid and stable when you sit in it, but it is still manageable for two people to lift and move into place. We recommend lifting the chair rather than dragging it, to protect the feet, the upholstery and your floor.
What are the feet of the Sammi chair made from?
According to the supplier information, the Sammi chair has plastic feet. These sit discreetly beneath the curved body so the rounded shape stays the focus. If you have delicate wooden or laminate floors, adding felt pads or placing the chair on a rug can help prevent marks.
What colours is the Sammi chair available in?
The Sammi Curved Tub Accent Chair is currently available in beige velvet. The warm neutral shade is easy to style with natural wood, cream, white and earthy tones, and it works just as well in calm, minimal rooms as it does alongside bolder colours and patterns.
Show 2 more questions about this product
Is the Sammi chair suitable for a bedroom?
Yes. The Sammi makes a lovely bedroom chair, whether you place it by a window, at the end of the bed or in a dressing area. Its curved tub shape and soft velvet give you a cosy spot to read, put on your shoes or simply sit and unwind at the end of the day.
How do I care for the velvet on the Sammi chair?
Vacuum the chair regularly using a soft upholstery brush attachment. Blot any spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth instead of rubbing, which can damage the pile. Keep the chair out of strong direct sunlight to help prevent fading, and brush the velvet gently in one direction to refresh it.
