Garden furniture winter care
A little care at the end of the season helps garden furniture last longer.
Before you put it away
- Clean off dirt, leaves and food with mild soapy water and let everything dry fully.
- Store cushions and fabric parts indoors somewhere dry.
- Close and store parasols, or use a parasol cover.
By material
- Rattan-effect: brush out the weave, then cover or store.
- Wood: wood naturally weathers; if you treat it, use the product the manufacturer recommends.
- Metal: check for chips in the finish and dry thoroughly.

Breathable, fitted covers help keep rain off while letting moisture escape. Always follow the manufacturer's care guidance for your furniture.
