Questions & Answers (8)
Answers from the Cuckooland team.
1) Are the furniture pieces fixed in place? 2) Is the height to the tallest bit? Do you know the height of the ‘climbing in’ area?
The furniture is fixed in place as this forms an integral part of the bedframe and cannot be used as standalone furniture. The height is to the highest visible point of the bed. The height of the ladder is approx 1.54cms
Minimum ceiling height for this bed?
There isn't a really a minimum ceiling high for this frame. The height of the frame is 1890mm. The best thing to do would be to see how much room you have left by measuring the distances from where the bed would finish in your room to see if you have enough room left. Sorry I can't be more helpful with this.
What is the standing height underneath this bed please?
The underbed clearance of this highsleeper is 139.8cm.
Can you swap the desk and wardrobe/stairs to the other end?
Unfortunately, this bed has a fixed layout with ladder on right.
What age is this bunk bed / high sleeper suitable for?
The top bunk of a bunk bed or high sleeper isn't suitable for children under 6 because of the risk of falls. Older children, teenagers and adults can use them as long as they are within the stated weight limit (including the mattress).
What size mattress do I need for this bed, and is it a standard UK size?
Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (e.g. Single 90 x 190 cm, Small Double 120 x 190 cm), but some take continental sizes (e.g. 90 x 200 cm), so please check before ordering. Mattresses offered in a bed's mattress dropdown are suitable for that bed.
Can I return an item if I change my mind, and how?
Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of delivery and then have 14 days to send the item back. Items must be returned "as new": not assembled, modified or made to order. Email customerservice@cuckooland.com with your order number and photos of the item and boxes; you'll get a reply within 48 working hours. If you ask us to collect, a collection charge is deducted from the refund. Opened or used mattresses and pillows can't be returned for hygiene reasons.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit and credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Klarna, Clearpay and V12 Retail Finance are also available on eligible orders. The options for your order are shown at checkout.
