Cuckooland are excited to welcome the new ‘City Chic’ collection from Zuiver! Netherlands-based Zuiver specialise in creating beautiful and affordable home accessories in line with the latest interior trends. City Chic is a montage of graphite and industrial style, paired with warmer natural materials and trending colours pastel pink and olive green for a fresh Spring look.
NAVIGATOR LAMPS
The star of the new City Chic range is the Navigator, a show-stopping light available in pendant and table lamp form. The creation of Amsterdam-born designer Olaf Weller, Navigator is inspired by old ship lights with a modern twist and features laser-cut MDF with a milled and rolled metal globe. Weller notes that the visible nuts and bolts “reveal the lamps construction and strengthen its robust character”. Available in Black or White with visible MDF, these unique cage lights will add a modern factory feel to any space.
MIXED MATERIALS
City Chic expertly combines ‘cold’ natural materials concrete and marble with warmer brass, leather and pastels for a soft industrial look. The Pendulum Time Concrete Clock makes use of a trending material in an intricate design, whilst the Fad Marble Wall Shelf with Buffalo Leather Straps is a super-stylish storage solution.
Iron, ash wood and pastel coloured resin are the other ingredients in this industrious range, as well as material of the moment, cork – Zuiver’s new Cork Time Wall Clock is an easy way to incorporate this difficult trend.
