Description

You’ll love it because…

The Vintage Fresh Cot Bed is a lovely long-term choice for your nursery, giving your baby a safe place to sleep from the early months and then adapting as they grow. The three adjustable base heights make those early stages easier for parents, while the later toddler couch conversion helps you get more use from the furniture over time. With rounded edges, protective sides and retro-style ash wood legs, it blends practical nursery features with a softer, more characterful look.

  • Made for a 70 x 140cm mattress - fits a standard cot bed mattress size
  • Three base height positions - helps you adjust the cot as your baby develops
  • Protective high sides - designed to help keep little sleepers secure

Questions & Answers (8)

Answers from the Cuckooland team.

What size mattress do I need for this bed, and is it a standard UK size?

Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (e.g. Single 90 x 190 cm, Small Double 120 x 190 cm), but some take continental sizes (e.g. 90 x 200 cm), so please check before ordering. Mattresses offered in a bed's mattress dropdown are suitable for that bed.

What is the weight limit of this bed?

Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.

Does the bed come with a mattress?

Beds are sold without a mattress unless the listing says one is included. Mattresses are an optional add-on you can select on the product page.

How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?

It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.

Can I get the assembly instructions?

Assembly instructions are included in the box. If you've lost them or need a copy, contact us with the product name or order number and we can email them to you.

Can I order fabric samples or swatches?

If a sample is available, you can request it on the product page. If there's no sample option, or it won't add to the basket, the sample is currently unavailable or out of stock.

Can I return an item if I change my mind, and how?

Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of delivery and then have 14 days to send the item back. Items must be returned "as new": not assembled, modified or made to order. Email customerservice@cuckooland.com with your order number and photos of the item and boxes; you'll get a reply within 48 working hours. If you ask us to collect, a collection charge is deducted from the refund. Opened or used mattresses and pillows can't be returned for hygiene reasons.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept debit and credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Klarna, Clearpay and V12 Retail Finance are also available on eligible orders. The options for your order are shown at checkout.
