Description
You'll love it because...
It's a famous (in Europe) Danish Brand called Lifetime. Famous because they've been designing and manufacturing Kids Bedroom Furniture for over 50 years! Famous too because of their environmental awareness and sustainability, for example, their production in Denmark adheres to strict rules regarding their employees and the world around them. From puchasing electricity from windmills, heating their facilities with leftover material like timber offcuts and wood chips, sorting their waste and supplying their community with their excess power. Their timber comes from slow growing carefully managed forests in Northern Europe which delivers a harder and more premium end product. The finish on all their kids beds and bedroom furniture is water based and not harmful to children or the environment. We've been partnering Lifetime for over 10 years now and we are still constantly amazed by their company ethos and exquisite workmanship.

Questions & Answers (8)
Answers from the Cuckooland team.
What size mattress do I need for this bed, and is it a standard UK size?
Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (e.g. Single 90 x 190 cm, Small Double 120 x 190 cm), but some take continental sizes (e.g. 90 x 200 cm), so please check before ordering. Mattresses offered in a bed's mattress dropdown are suitable for that bed.
What is the weight limit of this bed?
Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.
Does the bed come with a mattress?
Beds are sold without a mattress unless the listing says one is included. Mattresses are an optional add-on you can select on the product page.
How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?
It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.
Can I get the assembly instructions?
Assembly instructions are included in the box. If you've lost them or need a copy, contact us with the product name or order number and we can email them to you.
Can I order fabric samples or swatches?
If a sample is available, you can request it on the product page. If there's no sample option, or it won't add to the basket, the sample is currently unavailable or out of stock.
Can I return an item if I change my mind, and how?
Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of delivery and then have 14 days to send the item back. Items must be returned "as new": not assembled, modified or made to order. Email customerservice@cuckooland.com with your order number and photos of the item and boxes; you'll get a reply within 48 working hours. If you ask us to collect, a collection charge is deducted from the refund. Opened or used mattresses and pillows can't be returned for hygiene reasons.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit and credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Klarna, Clearpay and V12 Retail Finance are also available on eligible orders. The options for your order are shown at checkout.
