During my endless quest to discover the most unique kids beds I have spotted some truly wonderful designs, from multi-functional cabin beds to the most magical themed beds and I have to say, one of my favourite combinations has to be a kids bed with slide. What Size is a Children’s Bed with Slide?
The size of a kids slide bed will largely depend upon the frame to which the slide is attached and the configuration of the bed.
Each product detail page will clearly state the dimensions of the bed, including slide. It is also important to factor in clearance at the bottom of the slide, so when your child is exiting their bed in style, they won’t bump into anything on landing!
Are Beds with Slides Safe?
Your child’s safety is of paramount importance and when properly constructed, beds with slides are structurally safe and provide a secure place for your child to sleep.

As with any raised bed, it’s important to consider a few safety points and run through the safety guidelines with your child.
Take a moment to read a few safely tips for beds with slides;

- To avoid accidents, children should not jump on the bed and should not jump off of the slide.
- Ensure the ladder is secure and cannot slip when being climbed.
- Ensure the slide is secure and that the landing point free from obstacles.
- Periodically check all fixtures and fittings remain secure and are free from damage.
- Ensure that the safety rails are securely attached.
- If your child is still getting up during the night, place a night light in their room for using the ladder or slide at night.
