Garden Storage

A great artist never leaves their tools scattered about, prone to breakage or decay. No – they cherish the stowaway choices they have, and our Cuckooland garden storage pieces are the tight, durable shelter your outdoor creativity’s been waiting for…

What are we referring to, exactly? Tidy, ordered storage solutions of course - and our collection goes far beyond the typical shed structure (although we stock these too, for the meat-and-potatoes kind of gardener!). Peruse our product pages above and you’ll find a whole host of unique storage boxes  for all your carefully chosen garden accessories - think of it as their home away from your home! Not just perfect for all your essential tools- blankets, rugs and outdoor cushions will have a forever home too, ready to unpack themselves the very second our glorious sun winks at us! We also have a smattering of chests and wheelie bin guards and bin sheds to explore, all with a conscientious sprinkling of eco-friendly naturalism.

Part the deeper leaves of our selection, and you'll discover log sheds and holders for all your kindling, trunks and timber, essential if you're the wood burner type (think roaring fires and summer BBQ's). A lawn or patio arrangement shouldn't be dressed with anything other than flowers, pots, outdoor furniture and the odd snail trail; don’t settle for less than magnificence where you’re exterior is concerned. For the true cultivators amongst you, our storage items also include the king of all outdoor garden buildings - the greenhouse – trowels, spades, seedlings and compost can rub shoulders, sitting in a stylish and super practical year-round hideaway.

Garden Storage FAQ's

Garden storage is certainly high on any green-fingered agenda - to help make that all important decision, we've listed a few of your most popular FAQs below:

  1. Do I need to condition wooden storage units?

  2. Our wood-based purchases come with pre-treatments covering a few premier endurance properties, such as anti-rot pressure treatment. However, it’s always advised (and necessary) to condition the wood with a wood treatment (available from all good hardware/DIY retailers) once a year, if you want to increase longevity.

  3. If I’m storing logs, do I need to dry them first?

  4. If at all possible, yes! A stack of damp logs will take much longer to dry in storage, reducing their wood-burning capabilities and possibility causing the storage structure itself to develop damp or mould and begin to deteriorate. However, to safeguard against this, many of our log shelters have a waterproof coating and slatted backs, allowing your wood to breathe. We would however recommend drying out damp wood before storage to maintain both the wood being stored and storage unit.

  5. Do your storage items come with locks?

  6. Yes, our sheds and large storage items have either doors with a lock and key or external latches that you can use to lock the door in place. Our smaller storage boxes come equipped with a slot for your padlock.

  7. Will I need to assemble the storage item myself?

  8. Yes, you will need to build them – ideally with an extra pair of hands. Full instructions and a DIY kit are included. We also offer a two-man assembly/installation service as an option (the preferred choice of many!)- simply call our super friendly team on +44 (0) 1205 231231.
