Akin to home buying, shopping for a new bed for your child's bedroom often comes with a wish list - the essentials, the would-be-great and the ultimate cherry on the cake! We hope that we can fulfil all of your child’s wish list - including the cherry! House Beds can create an amazing focal point to a bedroom and can be accessorized to compliment the chosen theme or decor. They can be considerably larger than your average single bed, so please ensure that you carefully measure the room first! As kids beds go, no not at all. All of our beds come with installation instructions to guide you through the step by step process. We also offer an installation service on many of our Kids House Beds, which we highly recommend for our larger beds (please see the product detail page for the cost of this service). If you decide to assemble yourself ensure that you have all the necessary tools to hand, a dollop of patience and lots of cups of tea!
A Montessori House Bed is a "floor bed" and simply follows the Montessori principles that children should have freedom of movement to aid and nurture their development; a growing trend that we think is here to stay. These floor beds are a super option if you are looking to adopt the Montessori approach. Take a peak at our Toddler Floor Bed.
The mattress size required will vary from bed to bed, our product detail pages will state the mattress size required for each bed. This is usually a UK single (90 x 190cm) or a European single (90 x 200cm), some also come with the option to add a trundle bed, a great solution for sleepovers!
