A childhood bedroom is never forgotten. That’s why we’ve spent so much time finding the best furniture that little ones will love as they grow. But although wardrobes are the kings of clothes and shoe storage, we think a chest of drawers is just as important.

Some drawers come fully assembled, whereas others need to be built piece by piece. For the latter, we include flat-pack guides with every delivery. The bolts, screws and joints will also be provided, but you’ll require your own screwdriver.
Young children may benefit from the extra safety – it’ll stop the chest of drawers from toppling if they’re playing around it. Use a stud finder to locate the studs. Then remove the top drawer, mark the stud location with a pencil, and drill through the wall. From there you can attach a pair of lag bolts.
The depth of our drawers varies from around 40cm to 58cm. Exact measurements can be found in the description of each product page.
Yes – whether they’re MDF, real wood or laminate, Cuckooland’s Chest of Drawers and dressers can be painted over. Just make sure you clean the surface, sand it down, add a primer and seal it with good quality products (available at most hardware stores).
It’s possible, but only if there are no legs in the way. While some of our chests of drawers are cabinet style and don’t have legs, some are part of a self-build kit. For these, you can often skip the leg-building stage if you would like to stack items together. Remember to fix them in place with long screws for extra security.
