Lifetime’s Eco Credentials
One of the best things about Lifetime is how environmentally conscious they are in every aspect of their sourcing and production.
All of Lifetime’s wood comes from FSC-certified forests in Northern Europe and is grown without artificial agents. Instead, they give the wood the time it needs to mature, allowing it to become naturally hard and strong. The wood then undergoes a series of quality tests before being used to create children’s furniture at their Danish factory in south-west Jutland.
To paint and seal their furniture, Lifetime use only eco-friendly, water-based lacquer, tested according to the European Standard EN 73. This non-toxic paint is super safe for children and helps to contribute to a healthy working environment in their factory.
Speaking of which, their factory also has some impressive eco-friendly qualities. All the electricity they use comes from green energy generated by wind turbines. Any leftover wood from production is also used to heat the factory. Waste not, want not!

1. Lifetime Kids Beach House Double Bed
The Kids Beach House Double Bed is a stylish house bed and one of our all-time favourite Lifetime beds.
In addition to being made from super-strong, sustainable Scandinavian pine wood, the fact that the bed is a double size offers you even more longevity. When they’re little, you’ll have space to crawl in next to them and snuggle up for a bedtime story.
Meanwhile, when they grow into a lanky teen, they’ll have space to stretch out, and you won’t need to replace their bed. Don’t worry – the roof and rails can be removed to save your teenager any embarrassment!
2. Lifetime Adventure Hangout Kids Bed
The incredible Lifetime Adventure Hangout Bed is still one of the most fun beds we’ve come across in our many years of sourcing kid’s beds from around the world.
It consists of a bed on the bottom with a ladder up to the enclosed top bunk, which comes complete with opening windows and is the perfect den or base for roleplaying games.
There are various ladder configurations, so you can choose the one that suits you best and make it into a bunk bed if you wish – for double the fun!
3. Lifetime All in One Semi High Storage Bed
For smaller bedrooms or those in desperate need of storage, we’re all about Lifetime’s All in One Semi High Storage Bed.
Within this compact cabin bed is a double and single cupboard with hanging rail and a chest of drawers. There’s also hidden storage in the steps and cubby holes in the side of the staircase. So. Much. Storage.
