How do I apply for Finance?
It’s easy to apply:
- Online – Simply choose your products, proceed to checkout and select ‘Finance’ as your preferred payment method. The online application takes a few minutes and you will receive an instant decision.
- Telephone – Call our Cuckooland Customer Service Team on 01305 231231, and they will assist you with the entire process. You will be sent a link to an application form which you can fill in at your convenience. After a quick approval, your order can be placed right there and then over the telephone.
Klarna Bank AB (publ) will conduct the necessary credit checks and references in order to confirm your eligibility for the credit application. However you apply, it only takes a couple of minutes and you’ll receive an instant decision.
Who is eligible for finance?
You’ll need to be over 18 years old and a permanent UK resident with 3 years address history. You must have a UK bank account capable of making regular repayments by Direct Debit. You’ll need to be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment or in a permanent residence with your spouse/partner who’s in regular employment.
The goods must be delivered to your home address and the deposit must be paid using a credit or debit card.
Other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.
How much can I borrow?
The minimum spend amount excluding deposit is £250. The maximum loan amount is £25,000.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. We like to keep things simple. If your credit application is accepted, 10% deposit is all you need to pay, using a credit or debit card. The amount of the deposit is displayed in the credit summary throughout the credit application and on the credit agreement itself. You only pay if you’re approved.
What is the APR?
The annual percentage rate (APR) is displayed clearly on the credit summary and throughout the credit application process. It is also shown clearly on the credit agreement itself. Some typical examples of the agreement include:
Order total: £400 (10% deposit) – 12 months – 0% APR = 12 monthly payments of £30 with £40 Deposit (finance charges £0).
Order total: £800 (20% deposit) – 18 months – 4.9% APR = 18 monthly payments of £36.92 with £160 Deposit (finance charges £24.56).
Order total: £2000 (20% deposit) – 24 months – 9.9% APR = 24 monthly payments of £73.45 with £400 Deposit (finance charges £162.72)
How are my monthly payments made?
Monthly repayments will be taken via direct debit from your bank account. Klarna Bank AB (publ) will inform you of the date that your repayments will commence. The first payment is typically due 30 days following the date of delivery of your order.
Which products can I buy on Finance?
Any products listed on this website with a “Finance” payment option on product or checkout page are eligible for finance.
What is the repayment schedule?
You can arrange finance from 6 months to 48 months, please contact us if you require a specific monthly payment and we will calculate the best rate and deposit for your needs.
How long before I start repayments?
Klarna Bank AB (publ) will write to you to confirm the date that your repayments will commence. The first payment is typically due 30 days following the date of delivery of your order.
Can I pay off the loan early?
Yes, you have the right to repay all or part of the credit early at any time, interest rates will be adjusted accordingly.

Are there any other charges?
If you fail to pay any amount you owe under the Credit Agreement by the date it is due, Klarna Bank AB (publ) may charge you interest on that amount, they may also levy additional fees – details of these can be found in the credit agreement.
How do I ask a question about the Credit Agreement?

Can I cancel the Credit Agreement?
You have the right under section 66A of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason before the end of 14 days (beginning with the day after the day on which the agreement is made or, if later, the date on which we will tell you that we have signed the agreement). If you wish to withdraw you must give Klarna Bank AB (publ) notice in writing or by telephone or email. Please note that if you do give notice of withdrawal, you must repay the full amount of the credit without delay and in any event by no later than 30 days after giving notice of withdrawal. If you want to settle the loan after the 14-day cooling off period, you may do so but you will also have to pay interest accrued from the date the agreement was made until the date you repay it. If you wish to pay by debit card please telephone the finance company. If you wish to pay by cheque please post it to Klarna Bank AB (publ). Please allow 10 working days from the day you post the cheque to allow time to process the payment.

What happens if my application is turned down?
Your application could be turned down for many reasons, you may not meet the specified requirements or the information may have been mistyped. If you application is not successful you can still proceed with your purchase with a credit or debit card. You will not be charged if your application is declined.
