Hidden in the art print is the bands biggest musical influences: the Ramones, Black Sabbath, AC/DC guitarist Angus Young, New York punk Patti Smith, and power-pop legend Alex Chilton. This black framed print comes in 2 sizes. All images are individually printed using advanced giclee 12 ink colour technology on high quality paper. All prints are mounted using bevel edged black mount card and framed using an FSC certified deep box style matt black moulding with a profile measuring 3.8cm deep and 2.5cm wide. The back of the frame is finished with an extra strong black backing board and Athena Album Art authenticity label. The frame is ready to hang and includes a strong embedded hanger. Its first shop was opened in Hampstead in 1964 by founder Ole Christensen with a wide reproduction of fine works of art. By 1979 Athena had over 20 stores and also a publishing division selling to fifty countries and Christensen was able to claim that Athena was the largest company of its kind in the world. The company passed to new owners and at its peak had over 150 stores in the mid-1990s. Now Athena is back in its 51st year with more iconic imagery from bands and singers from its glory years and later.
